Franklin Float Company Closed until water levels rise!
The Harlinsdale float begins at Pinkerton Park. You will check in with us at the tent and we will help you launch. t's roughly 3 hours if you don't stop. The banks of the Harpeth are mostly steep and difficult to access but You'll find several places to stop if you're observant. The depth varies from 1-6 feet and you might hit rocks. You'll see Turtles, Ducks, Cranes, and if you're lucky, a "Harpeth River Happy Snake". The river meanders through Historic Downtown Franklin. You'll float right under Franklin Rd, through Bicentennial Park, Along Franklin Greenway, and end at Harlinsdale Farm. Text when you see the sign and we'll be waiting in the FLOAT BUS to shuttle you through downtown Franklin, then to you car.
The Eastern Flank Float begins up-river at the Lewisburg Pike river access point. It is roughly 2 hours. It offers many places to stop and play in the water, small rock cliffs, and beautiful canopied trees. We will shuttle you to the drop off point in the float bus and you will float back to Pinkerton Park.
The FLOAT BUS is a 1978 VW Transporter Bus. She can hold 7 friends, more tubes, and all the gear. Her interior and drivetrain are 45+ years old so she's loud, smells weird, and is oddly squishy.
Captain Lori grew up here and knows these waters well. She's your contact for everything Harpeth River and tubing.
Darin will be your driver. He has 10 years of experience driving and working on VW's. You're in good hands.
